The "HELLO.WORLD" event announces www.criticalartware.net, an application for
the discussion and development of contemporary art histories and practices. By
focusing on software art and it's links to early video art, criticalartware
draws connections between the media art of the late 1960's/early 1970's and
current code-based approaches. The first version of www.criticalartware.net
intertwines interviews with Kate Horsfield, Executive Director of the Video
Data Bank
and Luci Eyers and the founding members of Low-Fi .
